Yesterday's been quite a disappointing day for me. I got my last CT paper: ABC . I didn't get the grade that I want. Anyway, I'll make sure that CT2 is not going to be the same as CT1. Something else happened during the week! Tat is...
THREE days of conference! Wow! First night, Pastor Ulf talked about friendship. Hmm.. Guess u never thot of a preacher talking about friendship huh.. But he's not jus any preacher, he's an apostle of God. Yeah~ There are many acquitances but few we call friends. It's not a sad thing. In fact, it's a good thing! There are ppl whom u trust, who'll correct u even if they know u wouldn't like it, who will not run away when u're in trouble going thru hell, ppl whom u share ur joy + sorrow, encourage u to grow spiritually mature, most of all, ppl who'll share ur life wif u. It sounds tough. Tatz y most ppl hav few friends. The 2nd nite.. This I dunno cos' I've band practice & I promised someone I'll go. Yah.. 3rd nite.. it's abt pride. Pride is link to loneliness. Pride is abt self. Pride says use other ppl to elevate their status. Pride is hurting others to get ahead of life. Pride is killing others' self-esteem in order to make self feel good. Pride is having the thot of self is more important than the whole world. Pride is exaltation of self. Ultimately nobody likes to befriend a person with pride cos' u get all the time! Sometimes ppl get together so that they benefit from each other in a selfish way. In short, whether we like it or not.. All humans hav this problem! But the good thing is.. We hav Jesus who'll help change all that! Many may not believe but unless we believe, nothing is going to change. And unless we allow Him to change us, nothing is going to change.
All right.. Going back to band stuff.. This time the pieces confirmed are "Children of Sanchez", then still got... Heh.. Can't remember.. Opps.. Sorry.. I'll ask around + post it up here.. ChiLL!
